December 11, 2013. The Southeast Michigan Association of Wabash Men welcomed Gregory and Lora Hess to the area with a reception at the beautiful Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Oakland Hills has been the site of many US Open Championships.
Trustee Jim Davlin ’85 and his wife Jane hosted the event. Davlin introduced President Hess who updated the attendees on the latest at Wabash and answered several questions. The President outlined the ongoing process of developing and implementing the campus master plan, with a focus on independent living spaces and a Campus Center. Questions ranged from the always-asked co-ed question (we’re not) to opportunities available to our young men through the Schroeder Center for Career Development (there are several.)
Also attending the reception was Major Gift Officer Lu Hamilton ’76.
Many thanks to Jane and Jim Davlin ’85 as well as Debbie and Terry Hamilton '89 for putting together a wonderful evening.
