James L. Engledow ’78 is the president and CEO of the Engledow Group, an Indianapolis based horticultural services provider. While attending Wabash, Mr. Engledow was a member of Beta Theta Pi following in the footsteps of his father (Jack ’53) and leading the way for sons, Eric ’05 and Craig ’08. He is currently the president of the Carmel-Clay Board of Parks and Recreation as well as the president of the Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon, IN. A frequent presenter to the Wabash College Business Immersion program, Mr. Engledow also attends the Colleges’ networking dinners and is president of the Beta Theta Pi Housing Corporation. Mr. Engledow and his wife, Elaine, have three sons, Eric, Craig, and Kirk, and live in Carmel, Indiana. Serving on the Board of the NAWM would be another opportunity to humbly give back to an organization that has been so good to him.
