R. Scott Dreher ’82 is a writer and lawyer in California. He graduated from law school in 1985 and opened his own trial practice in 1996 specializing in investment fraud litigation. He devotes many hours annually to pro bono civil rights impact litigation on behalf of homeless people, and received the S.D. County Bar Association’s Community Service Award and the State Bar of California’s Wiley Manual Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. In 2003 he was named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Always an active Alumnus, Mr. Dreher has over the past eight years significantly increased his financial, recruiting, and campus involvement in Wabash.
