James P. "Jay" Williams, Jr. ’66 is the President of Broadcasting Unlimited and the co-founder of DMR Interactive, a broadcast marketing company that analyzes opinion research, lifestyle trends, and social media to motivate consumer response. As a student, he majored in political science and co-founded WNDY, the College's radio station. After Wabash, he became Vice President/General Manager of WVBF (FM), Boston, then co-owned and managed a New England radio group for 20 years. As a Wabash Trustee, he helped develop the Wabash Democracy and Public Discourse initiative and is playing a key role in the redesign and renovation of Martindale Hall. A lifelong conservationist and preservationist, he writes frequently about cruise ship tourism and overdevelopment issues in Charleston, SC. Mr. Williams and his wife, Jennifer, live in New Hampshire and South Carolina.
