The Wabash College Brass Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble present their Fall Concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, in Salter Hall in the Fine Arts Center.
The wide range of compositions available for jazz musicians to perform is one of many things that make this genre of music interesting. Highlighting compositions with a broad palette of styles, the fall concert includes ballads, Latin, blues, and jazz standards. This combined performance ensures the most musical Thursday night in Crawfordsville all month!
Scott Pazera has directed the Jazz Band at Wabash College since 2012, while Chad Downey has led the Brass Ensemble since 2017. The concert is free and open to the public.
