Before heading out for summer vacation, read on for important information about your phone and computer accounts, and what will happen to them during the summer.
Your Wabash phone number/voice mail will remain active throughout the summer. On May 19, all student phone numbers will be programmed to ring directly to voice mail, so if you will be on campus after May 19, or when you return to campus in the fall you will need to reprogram your phone number to ring into your room.Note that voice mail messages are automatically and permanently purged from the system 14 days after received, whether or not they have been read.
Your email account and personal file folders will remain active throughout the summer. You can access your email from anywhere on the Internet using Webmail.
If you are working on campus this summer, you can connect your computer to WABnet just as you do during the school year. Computer Services does a number of system upgrades during the summer and some systems may unavailable at various times. Service-affecting upgrades will be announced via email. The Library PC Lab and Armory Lab will be open throughout the summer. In general, the Library PC Lab will be open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, and the Armory Lab 8am-10pm Monday through Friday, and 8am-5pm Saturday and Sunday.
