Welcome Back Wabash! Important Back to School Dates

It's August and that means Wabash College students will soon be arriving back to campus for the 2003-2004 school year.

Here are the important dates for the start of school:

Friday, August 15 Fraternities are open for returning students

Sunday, August 17 Soccer players report for pre-season training camp

Monday, August 18 Football players report at 3:00 p.m. for pre-season training camp

Wednesday, August 20 International students' orientation begins

Friday, August 22 Ides of August in Detchon Center

Saturday, August 23 Freshman Saturday Cross Country team reports for training camp Freshman orientation begins (see full schedule below)

Thursday, August 28 Classes begin

SATURDAY, AUGUST 23

9 am-11:30 am All new students report to Lobby of Lewis Salter Hall, Fine Arts Center, to check in and pick up orientation materials and housing assignment

9 am-11am Continental Breakfast for students, families, and guests Lobby, Ball Theater, Fine Arts Center

9 am-NOON Welcome reception for families and guests hosted by the Wabash Parents’ Council at the Caleb Mills House on the Mall

10 am and 11 am (Choose one to attend) Introduction to the Wabash Fraternity System sponsored by the Interfraternity Council in Korb Classroom, Fine Arts Center

10 am-12:30 am Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies Open House

10 am-1 pm Computer Information and Demonstration in the Little Giant Room, Sparks Center Lower Level

10 am-NOON Academic Support Services Open House in the Quantitative Skills Center & Writing Center, 401 Crawford Street, west of Mall behind Lilly Library
