Meet the Student-Athletes: Swimming & Diving

Adam El-Khalili ’23 Adam El-Khalili ’23 went to Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Indiana. He is majoring in financial economics and is a brother of Delta Tau Delta.

Connor Baker ’24 comes from Michigan City High School in Michigan City, Indiana. He is majoring in biology. Baker holds two school records at his high school. He swims freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly.

Isaac Temores ’22 went to LaPorte High School in LaPorte, Indiana. Temores is a brother of Delta Tau Delta, majoring in psychology, and is a member of the record holding 200 Freestyle relay team at Wabash.

Connor Baker ’24 Daren Glore ’22 comes from North Central High School in Indianapolis. He is majoring in biology, a brother of Delta Tau Delta, on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and is on the Dean’s List.

Keane Albright ’25 went to Long Beach High School in Long Beach, New York. He is majoring in computer science. He competes in backstroke and freestyle.

 

What is your favorite movie?

Isaac Temores ’22 El-Khalili: Borat

Baker: 50 First Dates

Temores: Spider-Man (2002)

Glore: Horton Hears a Who

Albright: Any Marvel movie basically

 

What goals do you have for yourself/the team this year?

El-Khalili: The goals I have for myself this year is to achieve the best swimming times I have ever received in my swimming career

Baker: Do the best we possibly can and just enjoy the moment

Daren Glore ’22 Temores: Beat DePauw!!

Glore: Beat DePauw at conference!!! Also have some guys qualify to go to NCAA’s.

Albright: I want to better myself, which will better the team.

 

What was the best advice that was given to you?

El-Khalili: To be yourself. Don't just take that advice and be like, "okay, I'll be myself." Truly be yourself and you will be the happiest you can be.

Baker: Don’t say you’ll try, say you will.

Albright: You can't be anyone but yourself. Be the best you.

 

What is your favorite Holiday tradition?

El-Khalili: My favorite holiday tradition is breaking the wish bone at Thanksgiving.

Baker: Spending time with family

Temores: Celebrating Christmas with family

Glore: White elephant with the team at Christmas

Albright: Christmas Decorations
