What goals do you have for yourself/the team this year?

Sathing: Come in the top four of the conference and compete in the MCVL tournament.

Nichols: My goal for the team this year is to have a winning season and to push the team to be the best they can be.Carson Meadors '24

Meadors: I want the team to have a winning season this year and I want to be one of the top outside hitters in the nation.

Heckman: To prove to people that we are not the underdogs and not to take us lightly

Rivera III: I would say my main goal for us as a team is to maintain our mental toughness and grit throughout the entire season. Many of us are young and not used to playing this much volleyball, on top of a rigorous course load. Staying focused and locked in all season will allow us to accomplish our more tangible goals.

What is the best advice that has been given to you?

Sathing: Do the little things right and everything will follow.

Nichols: To always work hard and do your best no matter what you do.Sam Heckman '25

Meadors: I think the best advice I got is that experience is what helps you get better, so just take every practice/game seriously because if you practice how you play then you'll play better each time you go out on the court.

Heckman: Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unemployed.

Rivera III: How you do anything is how you do everything. Reminding myself of this during even the most mundane tasks forces me to take more care of the little things that are often overlooked. I think from this, I've become more disciplined when managing my time between athletics, academics, and fraternity life.

What is your favorite Holiday tradition?

Sathing: Gift exchanges with friends.Luis Rivera III

Nichols: Getting together with all of my family for Christmas and having dinner together.

Meadors: My favorite holiday tradition is when my sisters and I get to open one gift on Christmas Eve.

Heckman: Getting together with family and friends

Rivera III: Decorating my house for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving.
