What goals do you have for yourself/the team this year?
Thomas: To win a Conference Championship
Naaman: To win the conference and more!
Comer: Ultimately our team goal is to win the NCAC conference and make a run in the NCAA tournament.
Beatty: A goal for myself is to improve my game every day. The goal for the team this year is to win it all, just like the next three years.
Davidson: Win the conference championship/make NCAA tournament.
What is the best advice that has been given to you?
Thomas: Control what you can control and let the rest figure itself out.
Naaman: A stonecutter goes by The Stonecutter’s Credo. That is that when the stone breaks at the 101st strike, it wasn’t just that single strike that broke the stone. It was all 100 strikes before the last one that broke the stone.
Comer: Always bet on yourself.
Beatty: Do not fall into the entitlement trap of feeling like you're a victim. Life is not easy, so work harder.
Davidson: Nobody cares, work harder.
