Opera Singer, Jodi Karem, to Perform at Wabash College

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind.— Wabash College’s Visiting Artists Series will present a performance by opera singer Jodi Karem on Tuesday, November 4 in Salter Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center. The performance starts at 8 p.m.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a concert by mezzo soprano Jodi Karem, an up and coming opera star whose broad repertoire shows amazing versatility and strength. She placed third at the 2000 National Opera Association Competition and at the 2002 Opera Columbus Competition. Ms. Karem completed young artist programs the Utah Opera, the Cincinnati Opera Outreach Ensemble, and was artist in residence at the Natchez Opera Festival. She has performed around the world, including a solo performance in Mozart’s Requiem at Carnegie Hall.

In celebration of the arts at Wabash, admission to all Visiting Artists Series events are free. However, you must obtain your free tickets at the Fine Arts Box Office before attending Visiting Artists Series productions. Tickets are available from the Fine Arts Box Office Monday through Friday—8:30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The Box Office will open 90 minutes before curtain time for VAS events.
