The Wabash College wrestling team picked up wins from junior Chris Healy (Jasper, IN/Jasper) (left) and freshman Keith Garrard (New Castle, IN/New Castle Chrysler) (right) on Tuesday night at the Henry Crown Fieldhouse, but it wasn't enough as the Little Giants lost 28-9 to the University of Chicago in dual meet competition.

Healy picked up his sixth win of the season without a loss at 174 pounds, pinning Chicago's Dimitry Shuster in 6:38. Healy moved up to fifth in the latest Brute-adidas National Wrestling Coaches Association poll.

Garrard defeated Dester Hough-Snee 6-2 at 184 pounds.

The Little Giants were close in several other matches. Freshman Garret Pino (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North) lost a tight 5-3 decision at 141 pounds. Fellow freshman Will Clarke (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) fell 7-4 at 197 pounds, and senior Marcus Ellison (Indianapolis, IN/Warren Central) was defeated by just one point at heavyweight, losing 3-2 to Chicago's Drew Marriott.

The Little Giants are 2-4 in dual matches this season. Wabash will participate in the Indiana Little State Tournament on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6.
