The Wabash College tennis team dropped two matches over the weekend to North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division foes. The Little Giant netters lost a 4-3 decision on Friday night at Wittenberg before losing 6-1 to Denison University on Saturday.

Hadi Motiee (SR/Muncie, IN/Burris) was the only winner for the Little Giants in Saturday's loss at Denison. He was a 6-1, 6-1 victor at number five singles for Wabash.

The Little Giants captured the doubles point against Wittenberg on Friday night to open the match. The senior team of Mike Lynch (Evansville, IN/Evansville North) and Constantine Alexander (Kokomo, IN/Kokomo) took an 8-4 victory at number doubles. Motiee and Nathan Cain (JR/Columbus, IN/Columbus North) combined for an 8-3 win at number three doubles to give Wababsh the first team point.

Lynch was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at number one singles. Adrian Starnes (FR/Crawfordsville, IN/Crawfordsville) added a victory at the number four singles position, taking a 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 win in three sets for Ben Burkam. But the Little Giants would come up one point short of the victory to fall to 8-8 for the season and 1-2 in the NCAC West.
