Wabash Netters Fall to DePauw 7-0

The Wabash College tennis team lost a 7-0 decision to DePauw University on Wednesday night at the Collett Tennis Center.

Senior Mike Lynch (Evansville, IN/Evansville North) battled at the number one singles position for Wabash. After losing the first set 6-3 to DePauw's Marshall Kuresman, he fought to a 5-4 lead in the second, but eventually lost 7-5. Lynch and Constantine Alexander (Kokomo, IN/Kokomo) fell 8-4 at number one doubles.

The Little Giants fall to 8-9 with the loss. The team will travel to Holland, Michigan this weekend for two matches. Wabash will play the host Hope College Flying Dutchmen on Saturday morning, then will play a match against Wheaton College on Saturday afternoon.
