Lynch Finishes Home Tennis Career With Victory

Wabash senior tennis player Mike Lynch (Evansville, IN/Evansville North) took a 6-2, 7-5 victory on Thursday night against Ohio Wesleyan University's David Kubacki to win his final match at Wabash College. Lynch was the only winner for the Little Giants in a 6-1 victory by the Battling Bishops in North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division action.

Fellow seniors Constantine Alexander (Kokomo, IN/Kokomo) and Hadi Motiee (Muncie, IN/Burris) also played in their final home matches. Alexander battled to a hard-fought 7-6, 7-6 loss at number two singles. Motiee dropped a 7-5, 6-2 decision at number four singles.

The loss sends the Little Giants into the NCAC Tournament with a record of 9-14 overall, 1-3 against NCAC Western opponents. The conference tennis tournament will begin on Saturday, April 24 at Kenyon College.
