The Wabash College golf team trimmed eight strokes off of its first round score during Saturday's final round of the Millikin University Big Blue Classic. The Little Giants fired a 329 on Friday, followed by a 321 on Saturday to finish 13th out of 19 teams.
Sophomore Elliot Vice (Ladoga, IN/Southmont) tied for 33rd in the individual results. Vice shot a 75 on Saturday after finishing with an 82 on Friday for a two-day total of 157. Kevin Casey (JR/Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral) tied for 46th with a 161 (82-79).
Freshman J.P. Manalo (Ft. Wayne, IN/Bishop Dwenger) shot a 164 (80-84). Josh Iocca (JR/Kalamazoo, MI/Loy Norrix) finished with a 168 (85-83), while Aaron Selby (SO/Crawfordsville, IN/Southmont) rounded out the individual scoring for Wabash with a 171 (87-84).
Wabash will participate in the Ohio Wesleyan University Strimer Invitational on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25.
