Wabash College junior forward Jeff Diebel (Ft. Wayne, IN/Homestead)
has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the
Week.
Diebel recorded two two-goal games for the Little Giants last week. He scored twice against Millikin University on Wednesday, including the game-tying goal in the 83rd minute to help Wabash to a 2-2 double overtime tie. He scored twice in the first 22 minutes of Saturday's 6-0 victory over Hanover, giving Wabash its first win of the season. Diebel also added an assist later in the match.
Diebel is tied for fourth in the latest NCAC statistics in total points scored with nine. He is third in shots attempted (21) and fourth in goals scored (4).
