The Wabash soccer team lost a 2-0 match at fourth-ranked Wooster on Saturday afternoon.
The Little Giants managed only four shots and two shots on goal in the contest. Juniors Will McAdams (Carmel, IN/Carmel) and Ben Edquist (LaPorte, IN/LaPorte) split time in goal for Wabash. McAdams played the first half, making three saves while allowing one goal. Edquist had five saves and one goal allowed.
Wooster scored in the first period on an unassisted goal by Brian Conaway. The Scots added a second goal in the 57th minutes when DJ Snell found the back of the net on a pass from Adam Milligan.
Wabash drops to 3-8-1 on the season, 1-4 in the NCAC. The Little Giants are back on the road again next week, playing at Wittenberg University Wednesday night and at Allegheny College Saturday afternoon.
