The Media Center is offering several short courses this semester to introduce you to some of the cool things you can do with the software and equipment available to you in the Media Center.
Learn how to bring your lessons to life with video, sound and pictures. Create professional quality DVD's to share your ideas and work with colleagues. Create or edit photographs in Photoshop, burn your own CD's and DVD's and much more!
These classes are open to the entire Wabash community.
All classes will be taught in the Lilly Library, next to the Reference Desk on the first floor. No registration is required. Just show up! The first class is this Thursday!
Here is our training schedule for this semester:
October 21 | Thursday | 3-4pm | Video Capture and Basic Editing with iMovie |
October 26 | Tuesday | 1-2pm | Introduction to Photoshop and image editing |
October 28 | Thursday | 4-5pm | Advanced Image editing in Photoshop |
November 4 | Thursday | 3-4pm | Create cool DVD's with iDVD |
November 11 | Thursday | 3-4pm | CD's and DVD's - What to buy and how to burn them |
November 15 | Monday | 3-4pm | Organize and manage digital photo's with iPhoto |
If you can't attend class you can contact us (361-6451) and we would be happy to schedule a time to give you a short introduction to any of the software programs or functions we have available in the Media Center.
