Harriers Finish Seventh at NCAC Championships

Sophomore Dennis Frazee (Griffith, IN/Calumet) and junior Charles Wohlhuter (Wheaton, IL/Wheaton-Warrenville South) earned All-Conference honors at Saturday's North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championships. Wabash finished seventh out of ten teams in the final overall standings.

Frazee earned Second Team All-NCAC honors, finishing 12th in the individual standings with a time of 27:54 for the 8,000-meter run. Wohlhuter was an Honorable Mention All-Conference recipient with a 21st place finish (28:32).

Freshman Ben Bly (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North) was 25th (28:49) in his first NCAC race. Zach Eichel (SR/Columbus, IN/Columbus North) took 29th (28:56). Dustin Beck (SO/New Carlisle, IN/New Prairie) rounded out the team scoring with a 44th place finish (29:36).

Geoff Lambert (FR/Chesterton, IN/Chesterton) was 51st (30:04), and Ethan Paul (JR/Evansville, IN/Reitz Memorial) finished 54th (30:19).

Wabash finished with 131 points. Allegheny won the team competition with 31 points, followed by Kenyon (89), Denison (112), Ohio Wesleyan (124), Wooster (125), and Earlham (128). Oberlin (157) was eighth, with Wittenberg (253) and Hiram (314) rounding out the team scoring.
