Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

The Center of Inquiry provides support for the CASTL Carnegie Scholars Program, which brings together outstanding faculty from around the world who are committed to investigating and documenting significant teaching and learning issues in their respective fields. The Center of Inquiry and The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching co-sponsor the 2005-2006 Scholars Program, which focuses on the theme of integrative learning.

The Center of Inquiry also sponsored eight 2003-2004 Carnegie Scholars to investigate various aspects of the academic seminar. These Scholars worked together to invent and share new models for teaching, learning, and research in liberal education.
