Four Earn All-Conference Soccer Honors

Four Wabash College soccer players have earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors.

Seniors Morgan Patchell (Kalamazoo, MI/Loy Norrix) and Tom Reifenberg (Ft. Wayne, IN/Bishop Dwenger), and juniors Jeff Diebel (Ft. Wayne, IN/Homestead) and Will McAdams (Carmel, IN/Carmel) were named to the 2004 All-NCAC Men’s Soccer Team. Diebel, Patchell, and McAdams earned Second Team honors, while Reifenberg was an Honorable Mention selection.

Patchell finished the 2004 season with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points, third-best on the team. He was second in total shots with 42 and in shots on goal with 21. He played in 49 games in his career at Wabash, scoring 13 goals and seven assists.

Diebel, a Second Team All-NCAC selection in 2003, also scored four goals this year. He was second in the conference in shots per game with an average of 3.44. Diebel had 55 shots and 27 shots on goal to lead the Little Giants. His 12 total points tied him for the team lead.

McAdams started all 17 games in goal for the Little Giants, finishing the season with two shutouts and a goals against average of 1.93. He had 89 saves, second-best in the NCAC. His average of 5.24 saves per game was also the second-best in the league.

Reifenberg was a Second Team All-Conference member in 2002 and 2003. This year he had one goal and three assists, giving him career totals of five goals and 14 assists from his midfield position. Reifenberg started all 17 games for Wabash this season, and started in 68 games in his career.
