The Little Giants saw Clarke jump out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first and two in the second inning, only to have Wabash cut the advantage to 8-3 after five.
That's when Clarke exploded for 13 runs against Wabash to put the game out of reach.
Wabash did have good performances on the mound and at the plate. Mark Rowe, who has already pitched in relief on Saturday and threw a complete-game shutout on Wednesday, worked five innings in relief against Clarke. He allowed five hits and struck out four. Josh Stanton added another RBI to his team-leading total of nine with a sacrifice fly in the fifth. He finished the game 1-2 from the plate to keep his batting average over .400. Sophomores Brandon Candiano and Matt Carlson also added hits for the Little Giants to stay over the .300 mark in batting for the year.
Wabash (3-4) concludes its Florida trip on Friday with a doubleheader against Pitt-Bradford.
