But it would the Polar Bears that would claim seventh place, sending the Little Giants home with an eighth place finish based on the most near-fall points in the ten bouts.
Garrett Pino (SO/Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North) grabbed a technical fall with a 19-3 win at 133 pounds. Kevin Meyer (SR/Columbus, IN/Columbus North) won by a major decision with a 12-2 victory in the 165-pound bout.
Senior All-American Chris Healy (Jasper, IN/Jasper) finished the weekend undefeated, grabbing a major decision over Joe Studor with a 14-3 win at 174 pounds. Will Clarke (SO/Indianapolis, IN/North Central) was a 10-6 winner at 184 pounds. Steve Kasten (SO/Winamac, IN/Winamac) was the final individual winner for Wabash, taking a one-point 7-6 victory at heavyweight.
