The Wabash College Music Department invites you to the 16th Annual Spring Spotlight Concert at the College. The musical performance will take place on Tuesday, April 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the Lewis S. Salter Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center.
Songs that will be performed include Spring, a web-delivered multimedia by music professor Peter Hulen; Sonata in D Major, opus posthumous by Arcangelo Corelli; Don Quichotter á Dulcinée by Maurice Ravel; Autumn Leaves, arranged by Wabash senior Abraham Lucas; Ascop, a Peruvian Andes folk song; Allegro, from Sonata in A Major by Ludwig Beethoven; Sankoch, a traditional Indian harmonium music; Allegro poco maestoso, from Sonata #2, opus 43 by Bernhard Romberg; and Die beiden Grenadiere and Allegro, ma non troppo, from Piano Quintet in E-flat major by Robert Schumann.
The Spotlight Concert has become a great year-end tradition sponsored by the Wabash College Music Department, a gift of light, relaxing entertainment for the whole community. Please join the Wabash students and staff for a delightful evening of musical entertainment.
