That's what Shaylan Owen '05 wrote of his stay at Dick and Sue Gooding's Chromo Mountain Ranch last summer. The 1952 graduate and retired plastic surgeon offered his spread in the mountains of northern New Mexico as an ideal base camp for the 12 Wabash students on a three-week photographic expedition with Professor Doug Calisch as part of the College's Art 124 course.
