IAWM Wabash on the Road

On Thursday, May 12 the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men hosted its annual Wabash on the Road event.  Recently tenured Dr. Robert Royalty, Assistant Professor of Religion, graciously agreed to come to Indianapolis and discuss, with Wabash alumni and friends, a topic from a course that he just finished teaching this past semester.

The largest audience ever recorded for a WOTR event gathered for a short reception an auditorium at the Barnes & Thornburg law offices downtown.  Following the reception Dr. Royalty began his presentation titled "Matthew, Mark, Luke, and Dan Brown:  The Writing (and Forging) of the earliest Christian Gospels."

The packed house enjoyed the presentation and many stayed around for conversation following.  Special thanks to co-chairmen Paul Jefferson '92 and Tim Oliver '91 for making all the arrangements for the evening.

If you missed this IAWM event, we hope you can make the next one (Baseball trip to Cincinnati).  Stay tuned to the events calendar on the College website for all the upcoming activities.
