August 1, 2005. Over 40 alumni, parents and friends participated in the annual Wabash Club of Chicago golf outing. This year, thanks to the help of John Collins ’76, the club held the outing at the beautiful St. Charles Country Club in St. Charles, Illinois.
The winners of the outing were Wendy Jania (spouse of Greg ’93), Jim Jania (Greg’s father), John Knight, and Ed Szymanek.
The group was also treated to a long drive demonstration featuring drives of over 400 yards!!!
Many thanks go to our evening emcee Greg Jania '93 and to the outing organizer Eric Schoettle ’93 who put together a great outing and some incredible raffle prizes. The raffle included 2 free tickets anywhere United Airlines flies (thanks to John Smith ’84 of Tower Travel), a large Weber gas grill (thanks to Eric) and a great assortment of Vulcan golf clubs (thanks to John Collins ’76).
