Wabash College continues to top national college rankings. Students’ Guide to Colleges published by Penguin Books has listed Wabash in the top ten colleges of the most unique categories.
The book surveys thousands of college students to find the top ten schools, offering unique insights into America’s top 100 colleges. Among the categories Wabash placed in were the top ten most spirited schools, top ten schools with traditional values, and top ten schools you’ve never heard of.
Wabash is a place that can be defined by the Gentlemen’s Rule. The Gentlemen’s Rule states that ‘A Wabash Man is to conduct himself at all times, both on and off campus, as a gentlemen and a responsible citizen.’ It is the single rule that has governed Wabash men since Wabash was founded in 1832" said junior biology major Patrick Miller.
"Wabash is a place that has a strong backbone that is deep rooted in its traditions, which is what makes this place so special for so many men" said Luke Odom ’08 reflecting on his Wabash experience.
Former Senior Admissions Officer of Harvard University, Chuck Hughes says, "Students’ Guide to Colleges is a new kind of guidebook, created, written, and edited entirely by current college students. For every school, three students weigh in, each from a different academic and social area of campus, each with a different voice, a different perspective, and different experiences. Together, these students offer detailed, nuanced, personal and honest portraits of their schools - the next best thing to spending a week on campus"
In addition to being featured by Penguin books, Wabash College has also recently been featured by several other college ranking publications those in which include, U.S. new and World Report and Kaplan/Newsweek College Guide.
