Harriers Tie For Fifth in NCAC Cross Country Coaches Poll

The Wabash College cross country team tied with Earlham College for fifth place in the 2005 North Coast Athletic Conference coaches preseason poll. The Little Giants garnered 46 points in the final tally.

Wabash, seventh in the final team scoring at the 2004 NCAC Championships, trailed Allegheny (90 points), Denison (75), Kenyon (73), and Ohio Wesleyan (67) in the rankings. Allegheny received all nine first-place votes in the coaches poll. Oberlin (44), Wooster (30), Wittenberg (20), and Hiram (9) rounded out the final four spots.

The Red Pack begins action this Saturday with the annual Charlie Finch '51 Alumni Run at 9 a.m. The regular season starts September 3 with the annual Wabash Hokum Karem on the campus grounds at 10 a.m.
