Harriers Take Seventh At Little State

Wabash finished seventh out of 21 teams in the Little State division at the 2005 Indiana Intercollegiate Men's Cross Country Championships. The event was held Friday afternoon at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Little Giants finished with 221 points. Anderson University won the team competition with 51 points. DePauw was second (60), followed by Southern Indiana (67), the University of Indianapolis (93), Indiana Wesleyan (141), and Taylor (185). Huntington (253), Earlham (267), and Rose-Hulman (315) rounded out the top-ten.

Junior Dennis Frazee (Griffith, IN/Calumet) (left) was the top individual finisher for Wabash. Frazee toured the 8,000-meter course in 27:24. Sophomore Ben Bly (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North) finished 43rd with a time of 27:35. Freshman Sam Compton-Craig (Tipton, IN/Tipton) was the third scorer for the Little Giants, finishing 55th (28:02).

Wabash will be off until September 30 when the team will participate in the Notre Dame Invitational.
