Langston Development Company has just been honored to receive the 2005 Building with Trees Award of Excellence from the National Arbor Day Foundation. This honor sets Langston Development Company apart as only the second Development Company from Indiana to ever have won a Building with Trees Award.
Langston Development has done a lot for preserving trees in each one of their developments. They have gone as far as utilizing a Registered Consulting Arborist from the initial conceptual design of the subdivision to the final construction of homes. "We are excited to have been part of this development from the beginning Brookside and Langston Development deserves the recognition that they have received," says Judson R. Scott (Wabash Class of 1980), Registered Consulting Arborist, President of Vine & Branch Inc. in Carmel, and the arborist for Langston Development.
On September 19th, Jim Langston and Judson Scott traveled to the Building for Greener Communities National Conference in Nebraska City, Nebraska to receive their Building with Trees Award of Excellence from the Arbor Day Foundation.
