Foster Named to d3football.com Team of the Week

Wabash senior linebacker Josh Foster (Indianapolis, IN/Ben Davis) has been named to the d3football.com Team of the Week for his play in the Little Giants' 29-7 win over Ohio Wesleyan October 1.

Foster had six tackles, including five solo stops, in the Wabash victory. He also tied for the team lead in tackles for losses with two totaling six yards. Foster anchored a Wabash defense that held Ohio Wesleyan to three first downs and 61 total yards in the first half, and only nine first downs and 126 yards of total offense in the game. He and his Wabash teammates are ranked second in the nation this week in scoring defense, holding opponents to 5.5 points per contest. No team has scored more than once in a game against the Little Giants this season, and two of the three touchdowns scored by their opponents have come in the fourth quarter. Wabash is also ranked fourth in total defense (178.8 ypg allowed), fourth in rushing defense (49.3 ypg allowed), and 16th in passing efficiency defense (88.8 rating).

Wabash is 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Foster is a rhetoric major and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
