Earlham's Kevin Hunter scored the only goal of the match Tuesday afternoon to lead the Earlham College Quakers to a 1-0 victory over the Wabash College soccer team in Richmond, Indiana.
The loss was the second straight in North Coast Athletic Conference play for the Little Giants, giving them a 2-3 league mark for the season. Wabash is 5-9 overall.
Both teams managed 12 shots in the contest. Senior Mark Server (Trafford, PA/Plainfield (IN)) had two shots on goal in the match, as did junior Ben Esbaum (Cicero, IN/Hamilton Heights). Senior goalkeeper Ben Edquist (LaPorte, IN/LaPorte) was tagged with his first loss of the season, recording five saves in six attempts.
Wabash returns to action Saturday with a noon match at Oberlin.
