October 29, 2005. Wabash vs. Allegheny. News flash - the weather was good! A good group of Wabash alumni, parents, and friends gathered for the Wabash vs. Allegheny football game on a beautiful fall day. The temperature crept into the low 50s and the rain stayed away for the entire day!
The Wabash crowd numbers were boosted by a bus full of students who made the overnight trip. They were a big help as they cheered on the Little giants...and cleaned up the tailgate food! The game was closer than anyone had expected but, in true fashion our team played well when it was needed.
This was the last regular (not including playoffs) away-game tailgate. Parking is at a premium at DePauw and so the tailgating will be fun but fragmented.
