Little Giants Finish 12th at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

Four Wabash runners finished within six seconds of one another to lead the Little Giants to a 12th-place finish at Saturday's NCAA Great Lakes Cross Country Regional.

Junior Charles Wohlhuter (Wheaton, IL/Wheaton-Warrenville South) led the Wabash brigade with a 48th place individual finish with a time of 26:15. Freshman Sam Compton-Craig (Tipton, IN/Tipton) was next, taking 50th with a time of 26:16. Junior Dustin Beck (New Carlisle, IN/New Prairie) was one second back of Compton-Craig, finishing 52nd (26:17). Ben Bly (SO/Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence Central) finished in 26:21 to earn 54th overall.

Thirty-four teams competed in the 2005 NCAA Regional. Calvin College won the race with 46 points. Wabash had 311 points in the team scoring.
