Students visiting Wabash College Nov. 11 had the chance to visit several different classrooms to get a feel for the College classroom experience.
Several participated in a laboratory session designed to introduce the participants to activites they might be a part of as a Biology major at Wabash.
Results of a PCR-based assay to determine genotypes of individuals for the tissue plasminogen activator (TPA) gene. Participants' names are located adjacent to the well in which their PCR products were loaded. A size standard was loaded into the bottom lane of each gel. The shorter 100 bp band (the - allele) is brighter than the 400 bp band due to illumination of the co-migrating loading dye.
