Senior guard Kyle Medeiros (Indianapolis, IN/Ben Davis) has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Medeiros helped Wabash to two victories last week by averaging just under 15 points a game. He led Wabash with 19 points in the Little Giants' 68-57 victory over DePauw last Wednesday night. The win was the first for Wabash against the Tigers in eight tries.
Medeiros followed with 10 points in Wabash's 90-59 win over Oberlin Saturday afternoon in the opening NCAC game of the season. He was 11-of-24 for the week from the field (.458) and hit a combined 4-of-5 free throws in both games. He is second on the team with a 9.3 scoring average.
