The annual Strawberry Festival is the perfect opportunity for you to see what Crawfordsville is all about. With exotic arts and crafts, games, great food, and of course live music, the Lane Place is the best place to be to experience what Crawfordsville has to offer. The festival is usually held during the second weekend of June and attracts people from other parts of the state and the mid-west.
The organizers invite bands from all over the country and therefore the audience is treated to a variety of music. From rock to blue grass, it all can be heard here. The crafts include pottery, woodwork, basket weaving, leather goods, paintings, and Native American crafts. All the vendors’ items are partially handmade. Stands are organized and operated by different groups and organizations in the community.
