Fresh off of a weekend that saw the Wabash wrestling team finish sixth out of 20 teams at the Budd Whitehill National Duals, the Little Giants were rewarded with a spot in the latest national poll. Wabash entered the Brute-Adidas/National Wrestling Coaches Association rankings at 15th.
The Little Giants are 7-7 overall in dual meets this season, but vaulted into the national rankings after victories over previously ninth-ranked York College, 17th-ranked Johnson and Wales University, and two close losses to 13th-ranked Heidelberg College at the Budd Whitehill Duals.
Wabash returns to the mats Wednesday night for a home dual meet against Tri-State University. Wrestling begins at 7 p.m. with several junior varsity matches, followed by the varsity matches.
