Associate Professor of Rhetoric Todd McDorman was a panelist for a discussion panel at the National Communication Association Annual Convention in Boston, MA in November entitled November 18, 2005. The panel is "National Life or Death Conversations: Euthanasia, Million Dollar Baby and Terri Schiavo." The panel was sponsored by the Disability Issues Caucus and featured well known disability scholar and personality Adrienne Asch and the Boston President of the Disability Rights Group "Not Dead Yet."
Professor McDorman also was the panel respondent to two papers—"Interpreting the Constitution: Crafting Publics, Laws, and Rights" and "The Health of Metaphor: Theory and Use"— at the National Communication Association Convention at Boston, MA, in November.
