"Expanding Multicultural Education to Include Family Diversity" by Visiting Assistant Professor of Teacher Education Tammy A. Turner-Vorbeck was published in the Winter 2005 edition of Multicultural Education.
In November at Kansas City, MO, Professor Turner-Vorbeck presented "Representations of Family in Social Studies Curriculum: A Poststructural Analysis" at the College and University Faculty Assembly (CUFA) of the National Council on Social Studies. She has also been elected as one of five people to serve on the executive committee of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Family, Schools, Community Partnerships Special Interest Group (FSCP SIG) and will represent our international membership at the Spring 2006 conference in San Francisco.
