J.J. Anagnastou and Clay Conner: The Rest of the Story

J.J. Anagnostou and Clay Conner spent part of last summer assisting in research at Dr. Liang Cheng's Molecular Pathology Laboratory at Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis ("I Can Do This," WM Winter 2006).

But every workday after 4 p.m. when J.J. finished his shift at Roudebush, the junior pre-med student walked down the street to the Indiana University Hospital to conduct more research.

And after Clay completed his internship at Roudebush, he flew to Haiti to assist in surgery with Dr. Victor Binkley in a hospital and clinic there.

J.J. presented the results of some of his research at this year's Celebration of Student Research and Creative Work. Read "Bringing His Research Back to Campus."

And in the WM Online Extra "Completely Out of My Comfort Zone," Clay talks about his experiences in Haiti.
