The Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men and the Schroeder Center for Career Development jointly hosted a career networking event in Indianapolis for over 50 Wabash students on Thursday evening, February 2. This event, much like a successful event held in Chicago in early December, provided a forum for the students to interact with the participating alumni and learn about their career field, their specific company, and their career path. Alumni in attendance represented a wide range of career fields including law (large firms and solo practitioners), health care, banking and finance, sales, consulting, and more.
Many thanks to the Schroeder Center Staff, Dave Reed '89, and Tracy Williams '84 for organizing the event. Also, thanks to the Sommer Barnard law office for providing the venue.
This looks to become a yearly event in Chicago and Indy, plus their have been requests for similar events in other cities as well.
