Wabash lost 5-2 in its spring break opening match against Schreiner College in San Antonio, Texas Monday afternoon.
Freshman Jay Horrey won his first singles match in three sets, taking a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win. Fellow freshman Sean Clerget was a three-set winner at fifth singles with a 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 victory.
The Little Giants will play Southwestern University Tuesday afternoon as they continue their spring break trip in Texas.
