The Chicago and Indianapolis regional associations come together in Chicago on Thursday, April 13 for Cubs game. Alumni, family, and friends from Indianapolis boarded a charter bus and travel north to Wrigleyville to gather with the Wabash community from the Chicagoland area. The crowd enjoyed fine food and drink at John Barleycorn one half block south of Wrigley Field on Clark Street from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and then walked to the game in time for the first pitch at 1:20 p.m.
Wrigley field in April could have meant winter coats, hats, and gloves, but we were blessed with a beautiful spring day around 80 degrees and plenty of sunshine. Special thanks to organizers Eric Schoettle '93 and Lee Clark '73 from the Wabash Club of Chicago and the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men respectively for creating a great day for the Wabash family.
Keep watching for news on upcoming events for the WCC and IAWM and your chance to get involved.
