Rose's Cory Wright defeated Elliot Vice in the first flight 2-up. JP Manalo evened the team score at 1-1 with a 1-up victory in the third flight. Vice and Manalo lost the two-man best ball battle when Wright and Ryan Mitchell claimed a 2-up victory.

Danny Williams defeated Wabash's Aaron Selby with a 3-and-1 second flight. Freshman Jordan Vice tied the team match again with 2-and-1 win for the Little Giants in the fourth flight. Williams and Kyle Wilson defeated Selby and Vice 2-and-1 in the best ball matchup.

Devin Bennett won his individual match in the fifth flight 2-up, but was handcuffed in the best-ball competition after teammate Jonathan McDowell was forced to retire with an injury, giving Rose the default win in the seventh flight and a 3-and-2 victory in best ball play.

Bryan Arnold took a 3-and-1 win in the sixth flight for Wabash. A 1-up victory by Rose's Morgan Lollar over Michael Bohling was balanced by a 5-and-4 win by Arnold and Bohling in the best ball scoring.

Rose received the final team point for its 490-498 stroke play victory. Jordan Vice and JP Manalo tied for second overall in individual stroke play with 79's. Elliot Vice was sixth overall with an 81.

Wabash will return to the links this weekend, playing in the Strimer Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University Saturday and Sunday.
