Stanton helped Wabash to a 49-12 victory over Denison on Saturday by tying a school record with 4-1/2 sacks. In addition to the sacks, He finished the game with six tackles (five solo, two assisted), and two fumble recoveries. The Wabash defensive unit set a school record with 10 sacks in the game.
The Player of the Week honor is the second for Stanton this year. He was selected after a 3-1/2-sack, five-tackle performance in a 35-7 victory over Wooster.
