Sophomore Sam Compton Craig has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week after setting a new personal-best 8,000 meters time at Friday’s Notre Dame Invitational.
Compton-Craig toured the course in 26:30, beating his previous best time of the season by more than 50 seconds. He finished 92nd overall. All six Wabash runners posted their best times of the year at the event. The Little Giants finished 22nd out of 25 teams.
