The Wabash Red Squad remained undefeated with a 21-6 victory over NCAA Division II St. Joseph's College Monday.
The Little Giants defeated the DII Pumas behind the two-touchdown effort of quarterback Andrew Hasty, who threw for one TD to wide receiver JT Moore and ran for a second. Freshman quarterback John Melind added another score on a touchdown pass to Ryan Kerney. Kerney also blocked a punt on special teams. Wabash also had a strong running game behind Scott Lutgring, Adam Pilli, and Josh Burgan.
Adam Greene led the defense in tackles. Dan Eddleman had an interception, and Nick Lyons added a quarterback sack.
Wabash plays Franklin College's JV team at home Monday afternoon at 4 p.m.
